Clip-on and Crimp-on Nose Pads

Clip-On frame nose pads, also known as Crimp-On nose pads, are often used as compatible replacement nose pads for Bausch & Lomb nose pads which are also known as B&L nose pads, Ray Ban nose pads, and Rayban nosepads. Please note that Rayban, B&L, Bausch & Lomb, and Ray Ban are registered trademarks of Bausch and Lomb. This type of nose pad for frames is characterized by a two pronged metal clasp located at the back side of the nosepad. Each clasp is bent around the retaining post of the nose pad mount that is permanently fastened to each nasal side of the sunglass or glasses frame.

Although clip-on and crimp-on type spectacle nose pads for metal frames and plastic frames are often found on Rayban products, many other brands of sunwear, sunglasses, designer frames, and various other cheap as well as expensive eyeglass frames also use this type of nose pad.

Clip On nose pads are often constructed from soft silicone or soft-firm PVC. The most common sizes for clip-on nose pads are 16mm, 17mm, and 20mm; however, as with all glasses nose pad and nose piece replacements, the existing nose pads should be measured with a millimeter ruler in order to determine the proper size of the replacement nose pad.
